It is estimated 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage, and around 20,000 women lose a pregnancy either through miscarriage or stillbirth in New Zealand each year. It's a part of life, but that doesn't make the grief any easier to deal with. Why do we not talk about miscarriage? Baby loss needs to be acknowledged. Grief needs to be acknowledged. Families need to be supported. Sometimes it is hard to know what to say, so why not send a miscarriage care package instead. Even better share the cost with one or two others, so she really feels a band of support around her. Items have been carefully selected to help with the grief and physical well being of any mum going through this extremely sad and disappointing time.
Check out our predesigned boxes below or alternatively, if you would like to curate one yourself head over to our Build Your Own Box section.
Profits made from the miscarriage care packages will be donated to baby loss and counselling groups which operate on donations.
